Faith Through the Years
Calvary Baptist Church began in a small wood frame building on the corner of Church Street back in 1935. Over the next 60+ years, 6 pastors, and multiple building programs, the church proceeded to bless Grand Prairie, reach souls, send missionaries, and make a profound impact on lives.
Unfortunately, by the turn of the Century, the church had entered a period of decline. As is so often the case in human history, what begins as a mighty spiritual MOVEMENT, gradually becomes a MACHINE, and ultimately becomes a MONUMENT to the methods and successes of the past.
As of this writing, Calvary Mansfield has embraced a new vision and a fresh passion for our 21st century world. By God's grace alone, we now gather at our beautiful new home located at 260 N. Miller Road in Mansfield, Texas.
